A lot of people noticed the resemblance. When I first saw Nightmare on Elm Street 2, I was distracted by how much she resembled Streep. All of my friends made the same observation when they saw the movie.

I just watched Nightmare on Elmstreet 2 on tv and though she looked a lot like Meryl as well. A lot.
I was certain though she was also in What Lies Beneath, the neighbor, Mary Feur, but I was wrong about that.

yea, i saw nightmare on elm street 2 and in the bonus things under the cast it talks about her and how they ran a picture of her in the paper pointing out how much she looked like meryl streep and that she gets that comment almost every day, or did.
Yea, she talked like annette otoole. i swore it was one of them so i had to come on the internet and look

I am watching "LETTERS FROM A KILLER" and towards the end of the movie, inside the elevator, there is a close-up (tight) shot of her; I could swear it was Meryl Streep!

Same thing here Bo-Ann. I was actually almost 100% sure it's her until I got here. It's amazing how she resembles her
