After spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on Scientology, she has just "achieved" the highest level and as such she believes that she can raise the recently dead. In addition to that magical power, she believes that she can control other people's minds and influence material objects with her mind. This isn't a joke and I'm not kidding in the least. Look up what OTVIII in the Church of $cientology believe. The woman is batsh crazy.

I often see the terms "insane" or "stupid" (or variations thereof) when it comes to scientology.
I agree you can say a lot about a person who goes into scientology, and few of them flattering, but I'm not sure either crazy or stupid necessarily applies to a Hollywood celebrity that does so.
Some would argue it's a smart career move.
I could be wrong, but I'm not all that sure that every one (or even the majority) of the celebrity scientologists really believe everything or even anything of what the scientologists are saying. One of the reasons I find it hard to believe, is that to brainwash someone (and you'd have to, to get a grown, talented, resourceful and busy person like a major movie star to buy absurdities as those), you usually need a lot of time and to be able to isolate the subject both physically and mentally for a while. Can't really see that happening with a lot of them.
IMDb-boards would be less confusing if people would mark their signatures clearly.

Scientology should market itself as a really exclusive club. Oh wait, then it wouldn't be able to get away without paying taxes.

Well she was a demon on Charmed, so who knows, maybe the "Church" transferred her television powers to her real life.

One religion is as stupid as the other.
People who worship an invisible man in the sky are just as ignorant as scientology idiots.

Scientology is its own advanced form of mental illness.

As opposed to those that believe man was created from a mud puddle and a rib? That the entire human race came from those two people who had only male offspring. They believe in and worship a god that endorses rape, incest, genocide and committed mass murder on a global, literally, scale. That this being had a child with a woman who remained a virgin after conception and that he performed miracles, including raising the dead, changing water to wine and feeding thousands with five loaves of bread and two fish. He also came back from the dead. Yes, it's not quite out there with space aliens and volcanoes, but L. Ron had to make it flashier.

In the movie THE BIG BOUNCE, this line said it best: "God is an imaginary friend for grown-ups."

Sheer hypocritcy for being a spokesman for Scientology front groups!
Now she's duped a senator into thinking she's doing "good work" for some Human Rights group, that is really just another method of indoctrination for the cult.
                        Scientology enslaves children and adults.
Sad to see the cult making inroads and fooling people in office with their b.s.
Yes, " insane" is fair. Scientology is all about money, and some damaging beliefs! Scary stuff!!!

You're the ones deluded and insane for trolling Scientology and Scientologists all over the Internet to the point where it has become a pathological obsession. Get a life!
Whatever you want to claim or believe Scientology is about, you're totally nuts if you think its any weirder or stranger or more bizarre or ridiculous as any other religion or spiritual belief system.
Anyone claiming Scientology's beliefs are more damaging than other religions and philosophies are just plain stupid and clearly lacking proper brain function.
If you want to argue that Scientology's mental or "spiritual" practices are harmful, then you'd have to also concede that psychoanalysis, psychotherapy, behavioral psychology, etc are also likewise harmful, because that's all Dianetics and Scientology happen to be: psychoanalytic and behavioral psychology, especially abreaction, presented in pseudoreligious, pseudoscientific garb. Psychiatry, for its part as a medical discipline, generally views any form of psychology to be potentially harmful pseudoscience, with talk therapy considered the most damaging or dangerous form of psychotherapy, especially when administered to psychopaths and narcissists.
The irony is the way you pathetic mental defectives harass Scientologists, any psychologist or psychiatrist would consider to be criminally pathological stalking. Not even the most notorious trolls on 4chan, 8chan or Encyclopedia Dramatica have ever come close to this sort of lunacy that you losers have degenerated to.
How about some of you come clean about your anti-Scientology psychopath idol Tony Ortega's denial of the existence of sex and human trafficking in the so-called First World in order to cover up his own role in facilitati5b4ng such via his management and promotion of Backpage: http://www.villagevoice.com/news/cnns-amber-lyon-ambushed-craigslist-but-she-wont-talk-to-the-village-voice-6431659
But good ol' boy Tony has no problem backpedaling on that and now claiming that Scientology itself is guilty of such, right? In spite of the obvious pro-Scientology slant, this blog has plenty of Ortega's dirty laundry that his hardcore fans refuse to admit, let alone acknowledge: https://scientologycritics.wordpress.com/2015/06/18/the-downward-spiral-of-tabloid-blogger-tony-ortega-sex-trafficking-anti-religious-lies-and-plenty-of-burnt-videotapes-part-two/

He was probably a bigger star before he got into it, and the crazy meltdowns and stuff relating to it have definitely tainted his image in the last ten years or so.
