The original asked what her Nationality is and then posted a comment saying regarding her Ethnicity saying that she looked Latina. It's unfortunate that these terms are so commonly interchanged when they obviously have distinct definitions.

i KNow that she is half hispanic and half caucasion. something like that. wtf?!? is up with this "looking latina" crap.
latino/hispanic is not a race. I know plenty of white folks than can pass for a typical hispanic and they dont have an ounce of hispanic blood.

Ethnicity and Race:
In North America some ethnic groups - Italian, French, German, Spanish, Swiss, etc. - are considered Western European/"Caucazoid" by race. In that case, there are "Caucazoid" hispanics, "Negroid" hispanics, and varying combinations of the two (not to mention combinations with indiginous peoples). Descending from a Spanish speaking country does not identify a persons race, but it does identify a persons ethnicity.
Many cultures around the world define race in different ways. The one universal truth about race is that where ever you go in the world the definitions tend to be arbitrary. North Americans tend to define race by inherited physical features. Rigid compartmentalization makes Hispanics so difficult to identify racially in this country.
