His father was of Alsatian descent (the Alsace-Lorraine region of France), not sure about his momher name is Jeanne Parr.

He doesn't look very Italian to me, and he's so huge, Italians are tiny.
His skin-tone seems to me to border on the typically American greyish.

Italians are tiny? Since when? A lot of Italians are tall, a lot of Italians are blond with blue eyes. The notion that all Italians are dark and short is a fallacy and I'm surprised that in this internet age, people still actually believe this drivel. If you go to Italy, you will see people of all different heights, shapes, skin tones, hair color, eye color, just like in most other European countries.

No, he doesn't 'just have that look'. I don't think he looks Italian at all. Most Italians aren't dark.
I agree he's got more of a Greek look to him or maybe even Serbian.
