He's Tanzanian. No,wait, he's from Transylvania, I always get those two mixed up. I was kidding there, he's actually the son of a Nepalese sherpa and an Inuit homemaker. He was conceived in Luxemburg,and born in Panamanian waters aboard a ship of Norwegian registry, but his parents moved to Malaysia 11 days after his birth and got him dual Malaysian and Canadian citizenship, which he renounced when the family moved to Turkey in favor of a Turkish passport.
Sheesh people, don't just take wild guesses. YesterdaysChilde obviously has the skinny on the subject. If you'd read the thread before babbling you would have known that it's already been answered. -

Yep, he's Arabic (just like Maliki al-Nouri), though not to start anything, but he doesn't have the "Arab" look (honestly, I thought Nouri was Greek or Mediterrean maybe he's mixed).
Still interesting nonetheless and it's great to see actors of different ethnicities contributing to Hollywood.
I don't know what you think Arab men look like, but Michael Nouri has a definate "Arab" look as I know many many Arabs and he looks very Arabic. By the way, Arabs are Mediterranean. Learn how to spell it!

Thanks so much for that link. I have always thought Michael Nouri was one of the most gorgeous and talented actors around. It appears he's also pretty down-to-earth!
