I completely agree! I normally dont bag on people, but she is just plain awful. I could tolerate her in Bedazzled because she's supposed to just "be there" and not do much but she ruins everything else that she is in. I only like the middle part of A.I. partly due to her. THe first half is all her and the last half, as most people already agree on, sucks (and she comes back)

This is NOT A FAN CLUB! We are NOT required to "like" any performer. And, we are NOT required to only post opinions that YOU agree with!
She is a horrible (third-rate) "actress" who ruins everything she is in.
Threats and/or pretense do not improve her performances. -

I think Frances was good in A.I. but I disagree about this movie was a crap. A.I. is an irregular film, with several flaws (specially the last 20 minutes) but it has many greats moments: 7/10.
Timeline is much worse than A.I. The unique good thing in the movie was Anna Friel.. -

I've just seen her in Timeline. Her performance was so bad I just had to come here and let it be known. I've never said this about any actress before but she just might derserve the title of worst actress.. ever.

Of COURSE she deserves the title of "the worst actress ever."
But, she continues to be hired (works cheap?).
So, there will be even MORE opportunities to prove what a horrible "actress" she is.
Her ego is her worst enemy. Perhaps she is the head of her household and has to earn a check, and this is all she is able to do. -

I've seen her in a few things, including 'Love and Other Catastrophes' which was early in her career. Have to agree that she has a grating screen presence, and she comes across as overly 'into herself' onscreen. Not impressed with her acting either, even in Mansfield Park.

She's verybrittle. You keep waiting for a differrent expression to form on her face, but it just doesn't happen.
I think she is beautiful and to add to the list of "looks like" I think she looks like Natalie Wood.
But, she just doesn't light up the screen. Even in this new PBS show tih Jeremy Piven, she just has one expression at all times.
I wish she would loosen up a bit on screen.
