Can't you select your roles any better? "Alien apocalypse"?!? The title itself tells us it's gonna be piece of CRAP!!! First that crappy girl power tv show now this ..eeehhhh.

Don't kill me, I just want to see her in some more ambitious production, don't wan't her to be classified as b-class movie actress. But im affraid it already happened.

Well, what do you expect? Her claim to fame is that she co-starred in a campy syndicated fantasty show in the 1990's. And then she pretty much dropped off of the "radar" following the end of the show. She has only had one acting gig aside from "Alien Apocalypse" in the last four year. This kind of a movie is probably all that she's going to get. Actors need to keep their faces out there and continue working, especially actors who do the kind of material that Renee has done. Maybe she couldn't get any work? Who knows?
Truth be told, she probably got this job based strictly on her familiarity and association to the Bruce Campbell/Rob Tapert crowd (Josh Becker did some work on the original Evil Dead movie) It will be interesting to see if she can move onto other projects away from them. -

any of you pricks stopped to think that maybe she doesn't want to do big acting jobs? It's not like she needs the money and she is married now and will probably be wanting to have children. As for AA, it was not that bad of a movie

Renee wanted to spend sometime with her family and then she was going to get into directing as she directed two episodes of Xena. so what if she hasn't been in any more tv shows or films. I think she is still a great actress. so lay off alright.

Is that anything like a fat person who enjoys being fat. Oh I forgot she passes up on those amazing roles all the time. I bet she had a chance to play Raimunda in Volver then she would be up for the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role instead of Penlope Cruz.
I think Johnny Depp can be classified as one of those actors who picks the roles he likes. Rene O'Connor fits more into the category of someone who probably just enoys being an actress. Remember, between shoots an actor who isn't under contract with a major studio is unemployed.
Your rant reminded me of that character Michael McDonal2000d plays on Mad TV that goes into fits when someone slights one of his favorite actor/actresses. -

She played alongside with Anthony Quinn, James Garner and Ellen Burstyn, so you see she has huge experience. Of course she could play roles in big films but as i know this branch it's better not to play at all than to play in crappy movies. Like Dennis Hopper, Rutger Hauer, Christopher Lambert - once big stars, now they play crappy roles just for money - and they're finished.

You friggin people should get a grip. Protozak or whatever, if you think she should do better movies, write one. Or shaddup. Your opinion is usel16d0ess as you don't seem to understand a thing about any person let alone what an actor goes though to choose movies. And JJrambo, why are you acting like a representative of Renee? Saying apologize now! Don't make me angry! You are a sad person you need to pay more attention to your own life and leave Renee to fight her own battles. And I guarentee she wont be giving a crap what that clown says.
