First that crappy girl power tv show now this ..eeehhhh.
Okaaaayyy
lol Interesting choice of words there.
Crappy Girl Power TV show. Well, thats a first. Never heard Xena described as such. Xena (and the females of Xena) are
WOMEN.
Not girls
Girl Power TV Show, that's rich. Really it is. Sounds more like The Powerpuff Girls tv show, but you know whatever lol
And doing
Xena
was Renee's breakout/most known role. So if you supposably know she can "do better", what r2000ole did you see her in that initially made you think so [that she was talented]? -

The technical way it worked was this:
- Josh wrote the script c. 1990
- Rob suggested some changes and additions, which Josh made, and gave Rob co-credit for story
- Rob promptly forgot about it for over a decade
- Josh's agent sends it to Sci-Fi
- It sits in some in-box for 2 years
- Josh's agent retitles it w/ a sexier, siller title, and resubmits at as something Bruce Campbell could star in; Sci-Fi jumps on it.
- Josh asks Lucy to star in it, but she passes, as she's getting ready to do 2 and a Half Men, BSG, etc. and this wouldn't really "do" anything for her
- Rob and Lucy tell Josh that Renee would be a better choice anyway
- Josh and Bruce gove the role to Renee

I haven't seen Alien Apocalypse, but I think working with Bruce Campbell, a fantastic actor, is not a bad choice.
And Rene has been busy with her family, but she's doing a lot of things now. She's finishing Diamond & Guns, an independent movie in which she is also a producer, and will appear in Ghost Town. -

Then i should apologize her agent: Sorry.
"because she doesn't want too"
That's a pity. Now we are left alone with all those mediocre, skinny actresses It's so difficult to see good and simultaneously pretty actress on screen these days.
Dave, this conversation can serve no purpose anymore. Goodbye. -

Crappy girl power tv show?? Xena fraking rocks and the Xenaverse is still alive and kicking. Xenites are the most devoted fans I've ever met! The show stopped airing in 2001 and we're still as devoted as ever, and so are Lucy and Renee.
I can sooo tell you're a dude. -

I can say I personally loved the Xena show and still do. Ren and Luce made a wonderful and lasting impression on me and millions of others. They are really great gals from what I've seen and heard. They are as devoted to their fans as the fans are to them.
I will and do watch what ever film or shows they star in. It's just a pleasure to see them perform in any capacity, be it convensions, xena or films.

I'm sure someone has mentioned somewhere that Alien Apocalypse starred Bruce Campbell who had a role in Xena so it makes sense that she would hop from Xena to something with one of her other costars
Xena is sort of a B-Movie series anyway so it's not a huge leap from B-TV to B-Movie.
I ain't your friend, palooka.

Xena, a B-Movie series? Do you know how internationally successful Xena (and Hercules) was when it aired?

Army of Darkness - B Movie
Rocky Horror Picture Show - B Movie
Little Shop of Horrors - B Movie
B stands for Budget in that it didn't cost a ton of money to film. It has nothing to do with how successful it was.

It is most regarded as a non mainstream film, in addition to its budget.
