Yes. I had just gotten through watching it for the first time since the '80s. (And still remembered much of the dialogue, I saw it THAT much.)

Jack, I don't know if you have the urge to visit this particular thread anymore but I just thought of something. I was just watching Dragnet this evening and I remembered this particular conversation. About 22 minutes into watching Dragnet I realized that Emil Muz' Landlord (Enid Borden) accused him of doing just what the OP was accusing you of. I wonder if it was a reference to the movie. Either way, what a troll! It isn't very nice to accuse people of stuff like that. Just thought that was interesting.
