To the OP: You've got remember a couple of things: Actors are people just like you and I. Sure they make a ton of money, but a lot of actors are on the set for 10 to 16 hrs a day, up to 6 days a week. Maybe when your son ran into Ed O'Neill, he was just tired that day or having a bad day. Happens to everyone.

Celebrities are people too and maybe he was just having a bad day. You don't know how many times he was stopped by people on the street, or how many people wanted photos and autographs before your son ran into him. Teach your son to respect others' privacy.
