Just noticed on the latest episode of modern family how big this guy is. He has big triceps, forearms and biceps and is solid across the chest and shoulders as well, not bad for a bloke in his 60's

He was always big, even on Married With Children. He was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers as an outside linebacker in 1969.

He looks really old in the newest October 2013 "Modern Family" episodes.
The only reason I can even tell is that they're re-running them on TBSand I just caught part of one from 2010. I guess he could've been labeled late middle-age when the show started (and looked okay with Gloria), now he looks truly like an old grandpa.

I noticed his huge forearms, I didn't realise he was a ju-jitsu practitioner which I guess explains the grip strength.
