My deepest sadness to learn of her death; some say love is the death of a comic, but loss of love is more tragic. Patton has consistently been a smart, insightful and goofy comic. It pains me he's been dealt such loss, I wish for him that his Atheism has provided some measure of peace.

Don't worry, I am sure it has.
On the other hand, knowing that it was "God's will" to rob him of his wife, would of course have made feel so much better about the whole thing.
