isn't she based off tyra banks. It's more than likely that Cristie is mixed as are most brazilians. Her grandpa is a capoeira master and capoeira is an afro-brazilian thing so more than likely she may have black in her. She does remind me of Jennifer Lopez though. Couldn't they get a girl with a tan though.

I don't think her skin is much closer to black or white. She obviously looks mixed or Latina. And considering she's brazilian, i wouldn't be surprised that she has black in her. Just look at Adrianna Lima who is a mix of Black, white, and native brazilian. She has that same golden tan too.
I am surprised though how you guys don't see the striking resemblance of christie to jennifer lopez.

@EDDIEDEXTER
My point is that as a game Tekken throws up the the majority of the racial spectrum
And the first thing they do in the movie is make the brazillian character a stereotypical LA blond. Isnt that what Nina is there for.
As for the Catwoman remark. It went against typical blockbuster casting to have a non-caucasian as a lead heroic character. And Halle Berry is mixed race. Her mum is a blonde scouser. Even though the film was rubbish. -

I think Christie is a mulatto because she got both african & european features. By the way, her last name is Monteiro not Montenegro (it's a european country)

Christie is not nencessarily a Black woman she's a mix-race character so when it comes to casting an actor I figure they'll loose themselves on this one and not feel so restricted when it comes to an actor's race they can cast either way as long as she's hot, atheletic, and most importantly, can act then I don't give a damn about the actor's race.
