No, if you read what he wrote this way, you will understand:
She's a dead ringer for Phoebe Cates! But without the boobs.
Meaning, and I can't believe I am explaining this, that he agrees they look similar, but Grace doesn't have the rack that Phoebe does.

Looks nothing like her. Don't see any sort of similarities, trust me, I would of noticed
When Janice Dickinson was young though, she resembled Phoebe Cates.

Not a dead ringer for Phoebe, as Cates is WAY HOTTER to begin with. Plus, PC is a much better actress. Grace is OK. She's another token asian actress in Hollywood who'll hold her age well. She looks younger than her 35 yrs. But she's not especially talented to sustain a long and fruitful career.

Maybe the original poster saw her on EDGEMONT (2000, TV series), and was remembering/referring to then.
Since she has had a lot of roles since then, she seems to have grown taller, and gotten thinner, including in her face. As actresses progress in their careers, many seem to follow that trend; maybe it is the drive to have lots of very thin actresses and models - (NOT a great thing IMHO).
So what I am saying is there was more of a resemblance when she was younger, especially in some views and angles, but it isn't up to "dead ringer", especially not the current age Grace compared to Phoebe in FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT or PARADISE (both 1982, age 18/19-ish), with Phoebe at something like half Grace's age.
Edgemont is currently being broadcast on an "air channel", and she seems to have much more range as an actress in that series, even though she doesn't seem to be one of the main characters in that high school setting drama, (
HEAVY
on gossip/jealousy/boy-girl/dating, etc., "issues in 238their lives").
Sample dialog: (P is photographer, M is model)
P:"This isn't working. Take your shirt off."
M:"Why?"
P:"Because I'm the photographer, and you're the model."
M:"(takes shirt off) Anything else you want me to take off?"
P:"Yes. Your shoes."
M:"How about you take off your shoes?"
P:"I thought I was the one in control."
M:"It's just a harmless pair of shoes."
P:"(smiles) OK. (removes shoes, takes more photo5b4s)"
and so on

That is about the level of the series
As far as the comments about Grace's acting go, maybe all the time she spent as a Cylon in the revived BSG version have stuck with her, or maybe it is just the character she is
supposed to play
in 5-0 that is limiting. Most of the time, when you sign on for a job, you are required to actually do the job (perhaps play a 2-dimensional character), or you will be replaced.
BTW, there have even been TV ads seemingly making fun of how it appears no one on LAW AND ORDER ever cracks a smile maybe the writers liked that show? Or the Jack Webb DRAGNET? ("Just the facts")
So, is that limited range on them too?

After seeing her lastest profile pic, I think she also looks like Eva Mendes.
Both very attractive along with Phoebe Cateslol
