Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Ray Park

    rpvee — 18 years ago(November 17, 2007 04:15 PM)

I met Ray Park today at a New England convention. Long drive, but well worth it.

        Thanks for both comments.
I saw him again yesterday at the same convention and I got a picture with him. He's a really nice guy! Though his autographs were $25, so I stuck with the free picture.
He had an awesome Q&A session with his fans on Saturday! Not in a big room, either, but in a small one that's usually a restaraunt for the 1908hotel. He was really close to everyone, he had a great sense of humor, and I'll be remembering that convention for a long time.
Jeremy Bulloch, the actor of Boba Fett, was there, too. He's also a great guy! Both Star Wars stars shared fun stories and memories, and were really cool with their fans.
        RIP J.F, F.W, M.F
        You were great friends.

In Q&A, did Ray mention anything about that "Dead Mule Suitcase" project he's suppose to be doing with Robin Shou?

I don't personally remember him saying anything about a "Dead Mule Suitcase" project, sorry.

Ray Park is one of my
              favorites!
He's so awesome as Headless Horseman, and Toad in X-Men, and of course, Darth Maul, my favorite charcter in Star Wars!!!! You're so lucky. Can you post a pic of him?

Ray is a very personable guy. I met him last year also and we chatted for several minutes. Got some pictures taken and he signed an autograph for my son who is a huge darth maul fan. Serious dad points there.

I can't believe this thread is almost a year old already!
The convention is back in a few weeks, but the Star Wars guests aren't as major as last year's at all - the actor of Biggs and the actor of "aren't the droids we're looking for" stormtrooper.

Ray was at the convention again this year. He was nice as always, and his table was right next to my Star Wars fan group's table. He signed some items for our charity Star Wars Gift Basket raffle, and even drew the winning ticket at the end of the first day, which got a huge crowd! It was terrific.
