I absolutely adore Gerry Butler, he was a bloody AWSOME phantom but i think if they had not been able to get Gerry that could have had Nate! I know little about him but just seeing his picture before and reading your comments, i think he too would have made a awsome phantom of the opera!! -

Glad to see that I'm not the only one who thinks this! I think that he is more suited to a non singing version. He's my personal choice for Erik if they ever decide to make a miniseries of Susan Kay's novel.

You think that's hot? You should check out her Johnny Depp, Hugh Jackman and Ralph Fiennes! Still thoughNat still should do it someday. I look at 'Haunted Mansion', 'Far From The Madding Crowd' and 'Vanity Fair' and would just love him to take a whack at it! Then again, I'm kind of hoping that one day he'll also do Jane Eyre. You know, sort of a continuation of his Rochester in 'Wide Sargasso Sea'. Except you knowwhere he keeps his pants on.
