I remember in the "SNL Mothers Day" special from 2000 he said he was adopted. He seemed to be serious, but it was hard to tell.

Chris' father was a local announcer in Memphis. Hear his voice and you hear that he and Chris both sound virtually the same.2000 I would highly doubt that he was adopted.

He definitely WAS adopted. He and his younger sister. Both at 6 weeks old.
