He's stepping down March 9. Gives the governing party the Liberals the time to choose a new leader, and PM. It will likely be Mark Carney, former head of the Bank of England (even though he's Canadian). Strong on economics and finance.
Elections have to be held by October, by law.
I never liked Trudeau and I didn't vote for him.

1. She was the chief CDN negotiator for the last round of NAFTA during the former Trump regime, and supposedly she was a tough negotiator.
2. She is more on the left side of the Liberals. She wrote a book called 'Plutocrats', you can Google it.
