All of your choices are good, but I would like to see Mr. Payne cast the great Eva Marie Saint. No one is more realistic and Americana than she is. She would be perfect for his films because she loves character driven stories about the human condition.

I doubt we'll see the leads or stars of his previous films again like Giamatti or Nicholson or Clooney but Dermot Mulroney for example we could see again hopefully.
I'm thinking Meryl Streep, Marcia Gay Harden, Judy Greer (again), Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand, Kathy Bates (again), Kathy Baker, Ellen Page, Charlize Theron, Vera Farmiga, Jennifer Connelly, Natalie Portman, Judy Davis, Viola Davis, Samantha Morton, Emily Watson, Catherine Keener, Kate Winslet, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Matt Damon, Mark Walhberg, Chris Pratt, Jeremy Renner, Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro, Colin Firth, Christopher Walken, Willem Dafoe, Alec Baldwin, Jeff Bridges, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Philip Baker Hall, Chris Cooper, Jason Schwartzmann, Ewan McGregor, John Hawkes, Robert Sean Leonard, John Cusack, Patrick Fugit, Tom Cruise, Robert Downey Jr., Tom Wilkinson, Mark Ruffalo hate to say it, my favourite actor is Mickey Rourke and I'd love to see him in a good movie for a change but these two would pair up rather poorly.
