Oh, man, I haven't seen ANYTHING like that before! These clips are the smartest movie parodies thing I've ever seen! At the 2011 clip, I almost fell on the floor laughing with Christian Bale!!
Some questions: who is that transvestite (?) with Charlie Sheen?
And at the 2012 clip, who is that girl playing the guitar and singing at the end?
And how many people are working on these videos? How long do they take you? It must be about a month, because I noticed that you upload the videos shortly before the awards' day, and you must start them after the nomination announcements, soI guess that's the case! -

Haha glad you liked them, that "transvestite" is Amy Winehouse (RIP) which now seems like incredibly poor taste. We weren't to know at the time though!
The girl at the end of 2012 is Kerris Dorsey, who plays Brad Pitt238's daughter in Moneyball and sings that song to him a few times during the film
As for who works on them, it's just me and another guy (me being 'Cope', him being 'Dalton'). We script, animate and edit everything ourselves, plus we do a few of the voices (I do George Clooney and the announcer guy for instance). The other voices are provided by some very talented actor friends of ours who don't mind helping us out in return for free Doritos and hot salsa and you're quite right, we started writing it as soon as the nominations were announced and aft16d0er a loooot of hard work in After Effects, we managed to get it out in just under a month
It's worth it though. -

Oh, s**t! No offence Winehouse fans!
"The girl at the end of 2012 is Kerris Dorsey, who plays Brad Pitt's daughter in Moneyball and sings that song to him a few times during the film ;)"
Well, I think it's obvious that I haven't seen the film!
"As for who works on them, it's just me and another guy (me being 'Cope', him being 'Dalton')."
Yeah, I noticed LATER the names, so I figured it's you and another guy!
I'm always amazed how these animation programs have advanced. It's incredible that these videos have been done by just two guys for fun! Can you make some for PREVIOUS Oscar, please?? Or for Golden Globes?? Or forthe MTV Movie Awards (do they still exist?)? I'll send you a thousand Doritos (but without hot salsa, it will be cold until it gets there!)!
p.s.: I was kidding about the Globes and the MTV, but I was SERIOUS about the ex-Oscars!
