When a story starts with "A friend of a friend" you konw it's false, but when a story starts with "A friend of a friend of a friend" then it's just stupid. Sorry but if this is the best proof you got then you need better research

Again this is a friend of a friends story OK Brother of a friend but still it's close enough to friend of a friend. I'm sorry but this story so far has absolutely no proof apart from 2 friends of a friend stories and I'm sorry but those just do not count as evidence they don't even count as half assed evidence, they're just bull****. Until someone can some forward with a story about how THEY THEMSELVES either are or weere dating Kal Penn and can give me some proof5b4 (A photo of them kissing him would suffice) then this entire story has no weight whatsoever

i'm being really honest here i think Indians come off as "gay" to a lot of Americans whether they r American/UK/gulf born or not I'm not sure why look on the imdb pages for almost any famous western Indian actor and you'll see the same question over and over

I DO know however, I really can't find a pic of him with a female date on his arm. Not saying there aren't any, I just can't find any. You can say "Maybe he is private". Fair enough, but in this day and age of paparazzi and movie premiers you'd think they'd be some hot woman on his arm now and then.
And Neil Patrick Harris IS listed as one of his closest friends (ok.. that means nothing, I'm just being sarcastic, but on the other hand).
He was also mugged in the gay section of DC about a year back (DuPont Circle). Now, can a straight person be in a gay section of town? Of course! So again, that proves nothing.
Still.
Anyway, people who say "why should it matter" need to be shuddup. That knee-jerk, overly PC response is getting tedious and tiresome. No one said it MATTERS, but a person can be courious about ANYTHING, where someone was born, what their accent is, what someone's zodiac sign is etc, etc, etc.. none of it MATTERS, still doesn't mean you can't be curious.
