OMG like exponentially less sexy with the "American" accent! Of course I want him to work, but I think it's a good thing he's off the show.

They should've allowed him to keep his natural voice. His American accent sucked and didn't sound natural. It made him seem very dull and boring. In any case, "The Forgotten" sounds like a copy of "Cold Case", but without the music. Personally, I'm tired of all the police procedural type shows so not sure if "The Forgotten" would've been Rupert's ticket to fame in America. Would like to see him star in something else, but with his own accent.

I caught a glimpse of the pilot. The writing isn't the best IMO, but I was so glad to see him there that I didn't care. I would've liked to see him act with his own yummy British accent though, I mean that's part of the charm of the Brits I think like Battlestar Galactica's Jamie Bamber, I kept wishing they let him use his own accent even though his American brogue is amazingly good.
I'm glad that foreign actors are all over US TV and from the looks of it, that trend is here to stay. Hope one day Rupert will finally land a show that goes beyond the pilot!
