      Oh Sherrie
One of the biggest hits of 1985; it was on radio and MTV constantly.
      Mmmm-mmmm!

Journey has been my favorite band since before high school, through medical school and till this day. I have seen them numerous times including where they made a live album in Detroit. I've never met Steve Perry, but a lot of my friends did while I was living living in LA. A good friend of mine sat in traffic school with Steve. When the people in traffic school were to introduce themselves, my friend mentioned that he was a radiologist. Well, apparently Steve had an x-ray of his hip in his car, and at break my friend read it for him, and confirmed what Steve's other doctors told himbasically he would eventually and shorttly need a hip replacement. Needless to say when my friend told me this, I figured I wouldn't see Steve Perry singing for Journey again anytime soon. Through all the years of listening to Journey and all the things that went along with this, seeing Journey without Steve Perry as lead singer would be sacriledge. Even though they still tour, I haven't seen them since. Anyway my top 5 Journey songs are:
          Escape
          Open Arms
          Faithfully
          Any Way You Want It
          Wheel In The Sky

                    My favourites have to be
                    Journey -

                    1. Edge Of The Blade
                    2. When You Love A Woman
                    3. Im Forever Yours
His solo career I would say -
                    4. I Stand Alone
                    5. Strung Out
                    6. What Was
There will never be a talent like Steve! His music and his voice was unique!
                      Welcome to the party pal!

                      Hard to choose
                      Don't Stop Believin
                      Oh Sherrie
                      Faithfully
                      Lights
                      Seperate Ways
                      Any Way you Want It
I'd say Faithfully is my favorite out of my favorites. It's so sweet and I love the instruments.

                        What about Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'??
This song's amazing, it was one of their first huge hits, and it's been my favourite (along with Don't Stop Believin' <3) for the longest time =]

Hey cool another fan of L.T.S. :))))
My top 2 are Lights and Lovin Touchin Squeezin!
There are very few if any.I don't like?
I was bummed out about not seeing Journey last week in NJ, found out after I got there they were completely sold out..however, I've been watching many Steve clips on You Tube and think I would be too upset seeing them without him.
                          Other faves are:
                          When You Love A Woman
                          She's Mine
                          Send Her My Love
                          Foolish Heart
                          and the entire Infinity album
I'll never forget the first time I heard something off that album and heard his voice OMG :)))
They were my first concert back in the Summer of 1978!

Definitely one of my favorite Steve Perry songs of all time is one that has been listed once in this thread and it is with Journey. "Send Her My Love".
That song has such a beautiful story against gorgeous vocals and searing instrumentation, and the way he emotes is truly believable. You can tell it is heartfelt. That one stands as my #1 Perry vocal on a Journey song.
"Who's Crying Now", "Don't Stop Believing", "Open Arms" are other epic classics powerfully and passionately sung by this golden-voiced man. Then again, he could sing the phonebook or the ingredients off a soup can and make it sound like a masterpiece.
"You open this door with a key of imagination"
