I met Steve in 1986 and he was shorter than me wearing boots. I'm 5'10". He was sooooooooo thin as well, but his skin was gorgeous.

I am 5'10", too, and stood behind a few places behind him as we were getting off a commercial airplane. He seemed to be a lot shorter than me. Then again, I wore 2" heels back then.
Yes, I ran through airports wearing heels and carrying a heavy garment bag.
