I had a fire in my area about 20 years ago, multiple houses burned down, multiple houses didn't burn down. You know what the difference was?
The houses that didn't burn down cleared out their brush every year and had adequate water supply to wet down their roofs and surrounding lawn to keep the embers from igniting the homes. My house didn't burn down.
The houses that didn't burn down did not clear their brush or stick around to keep their homes wet.
Inadequate brush clearing due to liberal bullshit environmental policies
Lack of water due to bullshit environmental policies and DEI hiring.

That is an apples to oranges comparison.
We are talking about an out of control really large very hot wildfire with high winds with dry and drought conditions.
It was the perfect storm for it.
We are not talking about your house in a town/city where fires are smaller and much more easily contained.
Plus you don't know what the amount of brush there was, if any, around the houses of those in LA had nor if anyone watering them down would have helped.
Look at the row of all the beachfront houses in Malibu that burned down.
I seriously doubt they had any brush surrounding them to catch fire.
Have you seen any pics or video of a house engulfed in flames?
And you think the equivalent of a squirt gun would have done anything?

And what in the heck is there with any kind of effect this claim of "DEI hiring" had on these fires burning out of control?

He does have it right. Issue is Democrat leadership in the area did absolutely nothing about it and prevented anyone from doing anything.
