Hello,
Matthew, you had a wonderful grandmother! I have admire her in "Stagecoach" and "Spawn of the North". "Stagecoach" is her most famous role, and with reason. She was able to give more "flesh" to the character she plays, because according the original screenplay she had litte to do.
By all means try to watch this movie or any of her works.
An indiscreet question who was your grandfather? Jed Harris or Stanley Gould?
Best regards. -

I'm watching I MET MY LOVE AGAIN (1938), and your grandmother is quite charming in the role of a vixenish coed who has her sights set on her professor, Henry Fonda. She makes the young woman appealing enough (I'm speaking of her personality, not her appearance no problem whatsoever on that front) that we viewers can easily understand why he falls for her charms (temporarily, I expect I've still got a half-hour to go in the movie).
Turner Classic Movies aired this movie in the past few days (I Tivo'd it, so I'm not entirely sure when it ran), so you might watch their listings to see if and when the111cy show it again.
