Ten years ago vs now of this board

Wow, I remember reading this board ten years ago, and people were vicious to her back then. Almost all the comments on here were calling her fat and ugly, saying she was talentless, overweight, and a bad role model for young girls. Some even going as far to saying that she was helping the obesity epidemic that was targeting kids.
Now, the board is almost the same with people calling her disgraceful names and ridiculing her because of the comments she's made recently. The "I wouldn't hire anyone with a ghetto name" and the "I'm from every continent of Africa" comments have gotten her backlash and people demanding she be fired from "The View" and even a couple of death threats thrown at her. While I do agree that she was wrong in saying what she said, people are treating her like she's Donald Trump or a racist crooked Police cop. She even apologized for her comments but folks still won't let off of her. Isn't this sad? -

When a celebrity opens their mouth and spews out a bunch of BS, they should expect to be called on it.
The problem is, because they are wealthy and famous, they are often surrounded with "Yes" men - and parents. They are never told that they are wrong because no one wants to upset the gravy train.
What set me off is her b!tching about Trump getting the nomination - that she'd leave if he were NOMINATED.
Don't wait. Just leave now. A-holes like you do nothing but divide the country. If you can't stand our free election process, move to some socialist nation you like, pay 70% of your income in taxes, and enjoy the dictator you have as your leader. -

justanicknamed, if you lived even one month in Canada, Australia, NZ, or a socialist country in northern Europe, you would never want to come back to a country that hates its own citizens if they aren't extremely wealthy, and a country that would nominate Donald Trump, or Hillary Clinton, as President. You would pay high taxes and want for absolutely nothing. You would be much less materialistic and militaristic, and you would love life instead of hate it as you do. Even Jesus would like you.

Sorry. I was born with a back-bone so I most certainly wouldn't want to be there.
I don't hate life, I just hate socialism because it destroys the human desire to be more than a sloth.
As far as hating their own citizens, Australia took their citizen's guns and crime has gone up. They also "protect" their citizens by not allowing adult women with small breasts to be in porn because it might look like they are under-aged.
As far as hating goes, that kind of is your territory. What kind of medical service do you give to illegals? Nothing beyond life saving ER services, whereas in the US they come here for dialysis.
It is also very easy to tout how "great" socialism is in countries which have small populations, aren't looked to for help, and don't have immigration problems.
And, it is presumptuous that you "think" Jesus doesn't love me. Why would you "think" that? Jesus was a capitalist. He had no problem with people working to earn a living.
Also, you are an idiot if you think the government does anything well. They take care of themselves first. The more money they get, the more they want because they hire more people because they have more money. Therefore, they need more money, so you have to pay them more money.
