I so agree. She annoys me every time she's on screen with the way she angles her head & that odd thing she constantly does with her mouth. I have never written anything about an actor's performance but she is so distracting with her horrendous acting and false intensity I find it difficult to watch an otherwise great show, True Detective. How has she ever got the lead in a show (Black Box is think it was called - which was cancelled no doubt due to her annoying acting). Get her off the screen, please.

Oh, I just saw your remark. It is very kind of you to stick up for her but why would I be jealous? I am not an actress but was in the film business for years. It is simple: She just simply cannot act. I have never, ever made a remark about all the actually good and even average actresses, but this woman just annoys me by her supreme inability. Sorry, but not jealous. What111c a silly remark.

She is beautiful and I've seen her in other work where she was really good but in TD S2 her acting is wooden and her delivery is breathless almost like a Marilyn Monroe homage, and ends up disrupting suspension of disbelief by reminding that yes you are watching people who are acting. Vince Vaughn almost looks like he wants to yell "Cut!" in some scenes. I wonder is this the director's fault for giving her this approach, or her own choice to play it that way.
