Why would I put any effort into creating such a story? I could care less about him. Especially more so now. I thought it absolutely horrendous that this man should think he's so much more important and entitled to any special treatment. beep that.

Yummy Pizza, I would like to hear Jason Reitman's side of the story as this seems like an extreme exaggeration/ complete lie. I for one, refuse to judge Jason Reitman's whole character based on one supposed outburst, it's just not fair to him. But regardless, the man makes great movies and thats all I care about..

If only he made "great" movies, but unfortunately no.
These are movies that in 10 years no one will remember. They're sort of a fad.
I tried to watch Juno, I really couldn't. I tried Up in the Air, so boring I couldn't finish watching.
What can I say? Forgettable stuff. Then I learned he's the son of a producer and it all became clear how these movies get made. -

Exactly. You are just presenting one side and unfairly in a place where he can't respond. This is someone who gave an unemployed song writer the break of his life. Nobody would have done that but him , they want "bankable stars". This man is a saint. I don't know what was said or by who but they gave him the screening for a reason.

uhhh, said "If you woulda said Kanye West or Bale instead of a genius and talented director it woulda made sense"
Yeah, because all geniuses and talented people are super nice and not beep Usually those are the worst ones
Bale and Kanye are both talented, and they are als both beep -

I had the honor of working with Mr. Reitman, and he's as kind and down-to-Earth as a guy can get. Gonna go ahead and call shenanigans on that story..

Who said anything about the Oscar Party being in Ann Arbor? I'm sure homeboy flies. He might've been in Ann Arbor visiting family, friends, maybe even shooting a movie or doing location scouting.
Id MUCH rather trust Yummy than some rich director dude like Reitman. You all act as if you KNOW him just because he's famous and talented
The ones who said "That just doesnt sound like him". Uhh based on what? Interviews? Behind the scenes stuff?
For the dude saying "Oh I worked with him, he's down to earth, this isn't true". Your "working with" statement holds just as much merit as Yummy's initial story. You're asking people to believe that YOU worked with him (with no proof) over Yummy's claim that he's a conceded beep WHat's the difference? Neither of you have any proof
This actually sounds like it could be true -

You are not a very smart person, aren't you? The above account doesn't hold water not only because it is inconsistent (as I've pointed out - your response "I'm sure homeboy flies" is really weak - this type of argument can explain just about anything) but also because it's entirely secondhand.
I also find it amusing how you just asume that Jason is some "rich director dude". He may be receiving a lot of acclaim lately but the man is entirely self-made and is hardly as rich as you might think.
I would rather believe a person who claims to work with him and has nothing to gain than a person who tries to damage his reputation. -

Just read my message from 2 days ago. I typed up an exact transcript of Reitman's response to this on December 10, and I have a link to the podcast interview. He didn't have an Oscar party, he was beginning shooting for Up In The Air the next day.
I'm a leaf on the wind, watch how I soar.
