If it weren't for him making movies, I would have never heard of broomball. Therefore, he's doing a service to the future national sport by raising awareness for it.

I fear with the success of his recent film you are correct.
Instead of doing something that genuinely benefits society (putting on more broomball games), Jason will continue to make movies that will only be seen, and enjoyed, by millions. He'll also make lots of money, but sadly never be as happy as he was while sliding around on the ice. -

Waste of life? Broomball seems like an excuse to play hockey for those who cannot ice skate. Jason Reitman belongs behind the camera because he makes movies like none other. Broomball just sounds like a joke.
