          I'm pretty sure he was joking when he said that. What would he want with a 9-year-old girl when he had a girlfriend as beautiful as Lynda (who was played by the very talented P.J. Soles)?

            The only reaction you should have to her role in Halloween is a "Wait, WHAT THE!?" reaction to the blond girls boyfriend talking about stripping off all the girls includ2000ing Lindsey (Kyle at age 9) before he carries her into the house.
            It's one of those tidbits that's passed over by people who are really fanatical about the original movie for sure.
            I've wondered about that "minor" detail for years!
