has discovered he's the father of an ex-girlfriend's four year old son.
The 42-year-old met his child for the first time 2000just weeks ago, after discovering his actress/producer ex Sherrie Rose had given birth in secret.
Rose confirms to Us Weekly magazine, "Yes, I have a four year old son with Jeffrey."
And Morgan is ready to make amends for his absence in the boy's early years, with a source telling the magazine, "He wants to be in the child's life."
Morgan's representative has yet to respond to the reports.
I feel sorry for this poor kid, not only has he not had the chance to ge to know his dad but his mum is not a good person for keeping it secret for 4 years .. WTF was she thinking . what she did was wrong.
I also feel bad for Jeffrey Dean Morgan .. what did he do to deserve this . i'm guessing nothing . she should be ashamed of herself for keeping this quiet . it's not fair on anyone.

I just read that. That is so messed up and oddly enough she tells him just when he is becoming big.
Because she has a child with him , it wont make here any famous and men cant be tied down even if you have a kid by them. -

I wonder if he will ask for a DNA test?
I think he should ask for proof that he is the kids dad .. she kept it for too long it seems a little sus that she is coming out now saying that he is her childs father.

Two words - Gold Digger. Jeff is finally making good on his skills and then BAM! he's got a four year old? I mean, four years to tell a man he's a father, that's messed up. I agree, she should be very ashamed of herself.

she has always been a bit of a cut throat person, her constant bitcHing in her early career in B list movies and her coaxing hollywood actors in order to climb up the ladder

I know I am a bit late on this subject, but I just listened to an interview Jeffrey did and towards the end the radio guy asked him about how many kids he had. He said, "I have Gus. He is five."
He never mentioned the other child who is supposedly his. This could mean a few things, this Sherrie person is keeping the child from Jeffrey and he has no contact whatsoever with that child, or the child was not even his to begin with via DNA testing. I guess one will never know the truth. I do not see Jeffrey as someone who would not want to be in his child's life. That is not who he is. He is a really good father to Gus (as far as I can tell by pictures etc). Why would he only mention ONE kid if he had TWO? Here is the interview. The part where he talks about his KID is towards the end.

This information is questionable and should not be included on imdb. Sherrie Rose told Us Weekly in 2009 that Jeffrey Dean Morgan was the father of her 4-year-old son that she said she had never told him about. But Morgan has neither confirmed nor denied her claim, and has twice in interviews replied to questions about how many kids he has by saying he only has one - his son with Hilarie Burton. It could be that DNA proved Rose's claim false, or it could be that he just has nothing to do with the boy - but we don't know, so we can't include it in an imdb biography as fact either way.
