- Okay, she’s right, but the Brits shouldn’t be celebrating. If this is a sign of what’s to come, then this could be the gateway to some strict anti-LGBTQ laws getting enforced. Brits, you have a problem.
- The fact that this is being done by the “Equality Commission” is just Orwellian. I get that it was designed to be this way; the equality commission head was handpicked for the job for her transphobic beliefs and had no history in equalities. That law has nothing to do with whether trans women are women, it has to do with the scope of legal protections within that specific law.
Laws against anti-trans discrimination still exist
