Let's get a couple of things clear The first being that I like Eminem and 50 Cent. I think they are good rappers, period. I also like Ja Rule.
The differance between me and all of you is I do not hate Ja Rule and want him dead. It is not hard for me to say that, Ja had the better diss songs then Eminem and 50 cent because I really think that he did. If y16d0ou guys do not agree with that, then that is your prerogative, but I do feel that there is a fine line between not liking one's music and just being evil, which I feel most of you are doind, but again that is your prerogative. But I digress for a minute. Just because I like Ja Rule better than 50 cent (and I do) does not mean I think that 50 cent should be shot, killed, maimed, raped, or left for death in a parking lot. Nor does it mean that I am gonna say that eminem is a fag, a punk, a bitch, a man ho, or anything else, because I do not personally know Ja, 50, or Em and I honestly doubt either of you guys do either. And if you can honestly say to me that you know Ja Rule personally and he is a prick, then all I can do is give you the benefit of the doubt.
If you all want to come to Ja Rule's message board and diss the hell out of him, then that is fine. But I like Ja Rule and I am gonna defend him, but I will do it in such a manor that won't be insulting the character's of Marshall Mathers or Curtis Jackson, cause I do not know them personally. Alls I know is that I like Ja Ruleand I also like Jay-Z and DMX (Who are in my opinion are better than the aformentioned 3 rappers we are talking about).
"As far as saying you sheep would drink poison if Eminem told you to" I think I hit the nail on the head because it seems to me that you guys hate Ja cause 50 and Eminem told you to. If I am wrong, my bad, but I don't think that I am. -

I have hated Ja and his so called rap since he came out, long before Eminem and 50 publically acknowledge my feelings and theirs. No, I'm not stupid enough to drink poison just because some famous guy told me to. I am not a groupie, so stop making generalizations about everyone on the board. Seriously, Ja will NEVER win an oscar or be respected as a rapper. It is time for his fans to accept this. Admitting is the first step to recovery. You're bad.

When you admit that Loose Change was a better song than Hail Mary, I will admit Ja Rule sucks.
It is obvious Empress Electra that you hate Ja Rule and are a fan of Shady/Aftermath. I on the other hand like Ja Rule. But you can bets believe that I damn sure no that he will never win an oscar for his acting and I never claimed that he would, that was some other dude
I will NEVER, (and I mean Never) Say that 50 is better than Ja or that Em is better than Ja because I he has been one of my favorites since the "Can I Get A". Yes Ja has put out some booty this year but just because he likes singing with females it does not mean I am am gonna stop liking him cause I actually like a bunch of those songs "Down A$$ Bitch", "The Reign", and "Between me and You". I like those songs Mesmerize is kinda bubble gummish and I did not like it and I could have done without some of the stuff he did with J. Lo. That is the biggest insult about Ja you guys will get from me.
So this is what I will do I will let you hate Ja Rule as much as you want and I will rep Ja as much as I damn well please. And that is cool cause this is America and we can do that shi+! I am done arguing about Ja and 50, cause while they are making money, I am still working my way through college and I am still broke as hell. They are doing the damn thing and as far as I am concerned I am the same kind of sheep I accused ya'll of being just for arguing this long about it (sorry ya'll). I will holla at ya'll in another message board about another topic and hopefully there will be more love in the room and we can agree on something.
I Love Ya'lls! Except KhLeO_LUvEr130 who called me a butt kisseron second thought you were just saying what you felt so I can't hate on that. You guys stick to your guns and I really do respect your opinions(except when you wish people dead), even if you don't respect mine.
P.S. Electra, no one said you were a groupie. I am sure that I may agree with you on other things but I disagree with you on this. But just cause I do not agree with you, does not mean that I am gonna call you a groupie cause that would definatly be a generalization on my part! I am just a young black man that likes Ja Rule, the rapper. Maybe I can agree with you on another topic Electra, but on this topic we are gonna have to agree to disagree, as the saying goes.

it's really true that y'all 50 n' eminem likers and ja haters,hate him cause they told u 2.i mean,reall,just take a minute 2 listen 2 how ja raps and u will fall in love with him.
u don't even know him in the inside.i bet'ya he's a really nice guy.he's definitely one of the few.

Reading over this, one thing becomes clear. I am brilliant. Im overjoyed others can see Ja for being a cultural institution. TV actors cower in fear at the thought of Ja getting a sitcom because they know that this would mean Ja monopolozing all Oscars, Emmy's and Grammy's for the next quarter century at least. The real debate here: Will Ja Rule ever have his face on U.S. Currency?

ja rule getting an oscar is just like Mariah Carrey getting an oscar!!! its total bull! ja rule is also a total hypocrite! in a record eminem put out abot 15 years ago he referred to n*****, although he is not black. however in the murder remix of "I'm Real" J.Lo said that same word and she is not black!!! complete bull s**t!!!

C'Mon people, no one in history has won 10 Academy Awards. Also, you have to have an excellent talent in order to even be considered to be nominated. Quite Frankly, I dont see that kind of talent in Ja Rule. He'll probably only get supporting or minor roles in his "acting career" and nothing is wrong with that. However, I don't think he'll ever be nominated for an Academy Award

In defense of Ja Rule, he's one of the few to stand up against the Shady corporation, although the more talented people happen to reside there.
Other than that, I think he's a as talented as a doorknob and those '10 academy awards' are still very very far away. -

Ja's acting is mediocre at best. He did ok in the 90 seconds he was in The Fast and the Furious and he was pretty funny in Scary Movie 3. I did not watch Half Past Dead (that's b/c I don't think Steven Seagall is in good movies but that's beside the point) so I can't judge him on that.
As an artist he has issues. He has always been a very good freestyler. I own his first album Venni Vetti Vecci and I like it. Very hardcore, fast, real, and street. However after that album he decided he cared more about selling records than keeping it gangsta so he made these poppy rap/r&b songs like "Put it on me" and "I cry" to get more albums sold. His second album Rule 3:36 was horrible even though it went platinum. After it bombed I figured he would go back to his hardcore ways. But he didn't. Pain is Love came out and apparently was pretty good I think it went 5 times platinum. But with singles like "Livin' it Up" and "Always on Time" I knew it wasn't hardcore so I didn't bother gettin it. His fourth album was supposed to be his last. He said afterwards all he wanted to do was worry about producing and acting. The CD was called "The Last Temptation." I did enjoy the first single with Bobby Brown and did consider buying this album until I heard "Mesmorize." After about a week I was sick of it. Around the same time 50 Cent started to get popular and people bought that CD instead.
Then artists like Busta, 50, Eminem, and DMX started making some hot diss records toward Ja Rule. Even longtime friend Jay-Z left him cuz he felt Ja was sold out. 50 and Eminem probably made the most anti-Ja records and Ja was losing fans. There was a buzz in NYC saying Ja is over, no one likes Ja anymore, he is a pu$$y, and the kings are now 50 and Jay. Ja was pissed so in the fall of last year he put out a street record that dissed 50. It was called "Blood in my Eye." I don't think it went platinum but I don't think Murder INC cared. They just wanted to let the people know that Ja could still be hardcore if he wanted to. I have heard the album and it wasn't bad. I'm glad he made it. However when CEO of Murder INC Irv Gotti held a press conference saying he was dropping the Gotti in his name and changing the record label from Murder INC to The I.N.C. he said Ja was done with the street records and was going back to the rap/r&b hits that sell records.

this is really amusing! Ja Rule is not an actor. hes had a afew small crappy roles. i wouldnt even like to call him a performer. hes a wee freak! with his Murder Inc! ooo such a hard man! lol eh no! and 50 Cent could beat his ass anyday!
