In Tri orsky pro Popelku (1974), she is so pretty! I just wanted to say. Suppose she's very popular in her own country. Have only seen the cinderella movie, though But she's most likely very pretty elsewhere too

I totally agree. The movie runs every year in Norway 24th December, dubbed. I just noticed today how beautiful she was in that movie. I would really like to see her in other movies, preferably from that time, but that is most likely not going to happen

Yes, the Christmas is totally ruined if I don't get to see that movie on christmas eve. (I live in norway) And I know a lot of other people who feel the same way!

Yes, Libuse is VERY beautiful!!
But it is possible to see her in Norway in another movie than "Tri orisky pro popelku". Go and rent "Kolya". She is in that one! An older version of her of course, but still very beautiful! Hard to imagine that she will turn 53 years old in June! -

Libuse is very modest and beautiful star in the Czech republic. You never find any news about her in a yellow press. She has a sister which is blonde and as pretty as her.

Greetings from Libuse Safrnkov's home town of Brno! Try finding Vesnicko ma strediskova from 1985, I've seen it online with English subtitles. Perhaps also Treti princ (The Third Prince) from 1980, or Obecna skola, or Jak utopit dr. Mracka.
If you'd just like to watch her, find on YouTube the films O Terezce a pani Madam, or Elixir a Halibela (she plays a witch there )
We make an incredible number of fairy tales and she played a lot of princesses in the 1970's and 1980's, and switched to queens in about 2000. But she's also played in serious films.
And yes, you can rest assured that she's very popular in my country No yellow press, as it was mentioned, she's a very nice, cheerful and decent person (never went nude on the screen) and has a happy marriage. They often play the queen and the king. I think that's one of the reasons Czechs still like her fairy-tales after 40 years - because they know she's a nice and decent person in real life, too.
No shortage of jobs for her, although there aren't many good films made in the Czech Rep. nowadays so the films she plays in usually aren't first-rate.
Btw, everyone calls her Libuska (diminutive form, pronounced "Libooshkah").
