If she identifies as a Latina (as she's said) then it is an issue. It really is. It's fine if she wants to identify as a Latina - she's biracial - her choice. But when actresses are competing for roles - and this is a huge issue - you really can't have it both ways.
And Nina Simone would have been horrified by the blackface thing - and she wouldn't have been too polite about it. -

Identifying as Latina doesn't mean she's saying she's not black. This is like saying Nicki Minaj or Rihanna identifying as West Indian is an issue. That is their
culture

A black person cannot wear blackface. This is absurd.
Zoe is not biracial. She has the same racial make up as Rihanna and Beyonce - one black parent, one mixed parent.
