She looked incredible. She had that new mother glow.
It's an ordinary high school day. Except that it's not.

Totally agree, and what really sucks is that she apparently didn't like herself that way, even though we all did.
She's already back to her size 0 (or 2) size. Link with photo below.

Ah nuts.. I was hoping she'd stay thicker for gotg2 ..I liked her as Gamora but she was to thin to be believable as an action hero. One hit and she'd split like wet pine.

I personally have never been pregnant so I don't know how it feels for moms during and 5b4after pregnancy. But some of the people around me have and for some of them, they say they feel sluggish, out of shape and physically drained after they've given birth, and were eager to get back into shape rather than losing the weight at a natural pace. So it just depends on personal preferenceI think busy working moms especially would probably want to lose the post-baby weight fast so they can get back to work asap. Considering Zoe is a very busy actress, she has many upcoming movies lined up in the next few years, and a few are scheduled to start filming later this year, the new ST sequel is scheduled to start filming in 2 months and filming for the next 3 'Avatar' sequels will most likely start sometime later this year too, so I'm sure that's one of the main reasons she feels compelled to lose the extra weight quickly, so she can get back to work. And furthermore, her roles in these movies are physically demanding, so it's probably even more pressure on her to lose the extra weight fast.

Just came across this article about Saldana confessing that even though she has a trainer to help lose the baby weight, it's still a struggle, even for her:

I like how she keeps it real about the major changes her body went through after having twins, and that's it's going to take awhile to get back in shape. In other words, nobody, not even a movie star, loses the baby fat overnightit's impossible.

I prefer her before, and I think she does too. Skinny women catch a lot of flack but being thin is nothing to be ashamed of. Being skinny is cute. Beyond that, it was her niche.
