While icicles are cool (Ha! See what I did there?) they are a sign of a poorly insulated house.
In any case why are you acting as if you are the only one who has ever experienced this?
It is snowing where I am, which has been rare for us this winter, and I am not making a big fuss about it.

Snow is a big deal to people who live in New Orleans, and it has been all over the news. This is practically a once in a lifetime thing.

Here on the northshore, we had some snow like this in 08, but this snow was more pure/powdery. But yeah, NOLA hasn't gotten snow like this since like the 1800s I think.

Because this is a once in a lifetime event. Northern Florida is getting snow, which is another thing you never see.
