I'm not trying to be mean, or say what no-one else wants to (if that's the case), but does nobody else think that John is letting himself down by allowing himself to go grey??
I started off with a crush on Bo Duke, I've been used to his continued youthful image for over two and a half years now, and it's increasingly difficult for me to see him getting older like that.
I know it's an unavoidable fact, but does anybody else think he should try to disguise it, atleast? On the recent Nip/Tuck photos it's very obvious, and I'd just like him to understand that, although everybody knows it doesn't change the fact that he's a great person, it does hold him back, to be honest.
Anyone else see my point of view?
Again, I'm trying to be cruel to be kindand if John reads these postings, I hope he can understand that as a genuine fan, I'm not trying to be negative, I'm just trying to help.
Please tell me I'm not5b4 alone in my thought process.

Sorry, Phoenix, but I don't agree with you. I guess you could say that I started with a crush on Bo Duke almost 29 years ago but we as his fans have to understand that he ages just like the rest of us. I'm glad that he can accept that fact and actually use it to his advantage. He's now getting roles for more mature men instead of young, sex objects. It's definitely not holding him back as he is now making his own movies with his own production and distribution companies. "Collier & Co. - Hot Pursuit" is a wonderful family comedy which is now in the stores on DVD and the sequel is already in the works. As a genuine fan I am also just trying to help. The grey makes John look more distinguished and he certainly has many wonderful years ahead.

Actually when I met John, I couldn't believe how young he still looks! yeah there is a bit of grey there but not a lot. I reckon they made him look older on smallville haven't seen nip/tuck yet not a huge fan of the show even though it has Julian McMahon in it will probably only watch it because John is in it!
I also believe they grey doesn't really hurt anywaylook at George Clooney for example and Robert Redford and Sean Connery is much hotter now than he ever was before!

As far as I'm concerned, allowing oneself to go grey and wrinkled shows off a degree of level-headedness that is rarely to be seen these days among the crowd, much less among a looks-obsessed environment like the Hollywood.
I adore him all the more for that and think he looks absolutely fabulous.

Actually he looks great, he is on "Happily Divorced" right now and looks much younger than 52.
I believe he had a face lift about 10yrs ago and looked pulled too tight for awhile, now he looks like a middle aged man who t5b4ook good care of himself.
Everyone ages, why do people expect celebrities not to age? -

Recently saw him in some car commercials and he really has aged well imo.
Tom Wopat definitely didn't drink out of the fountain of youth like JS doeslol
What kind of beast couldn't get along with a precious little girl like this? -

He was very good-looking in Dukes of Hazzard, especially when he smiled. He had very nice boyish looks about him when he was younger. Now, he isn't "letting himself down"he's just gotten older. We will all age if we live long enough, it's just something that happens. It doesn't mean he looks "old" or bad now, he's just not a young man anymore, that's all.
