Okay, before anyone gets all upset, I realize that what I'm asking is a personal question and if you have a problem with that then you can move on to the next postI don't need your crap, K?
Haha, sorry. Moving on. I know that John Schneider has three children. It says that everywhere. But on the Dukes DVD (Season 3) he says in an interview with Catherine Bach and Tom Wopat that he has "four. Because now we have Andre"
Who's Andre??? I can't find this info anywhere! Anyone know? -

Leah Castle, his step-daughter, was born in 1985 and will be 22 this year.
Chasen Castle, his step-son, was born in 1992 and will be 15 this year.
Karis Schneider, his daughter, was born in 1994 and will be 13 this year.
Andre, his nephew, was born in 1988 and will be 19 this year. -

If you do a Google image search you will find some.
Alternatively, you could search WireImage.com or GettyImages.com they have pictures of John with his family at various events.
You can also search the various John Schneider fan sites. Many of them have galleries where you will find pictures of John, Elly and their children. -

I have posted the ages of John's childred about three posts above your question. However, as you clearly missed the post here it is again
Leah Castle, his step-daughter, was born in 1985 and will be 22 this year.
Chasen Castle, his step-son, was born in 1992 and will be 15 this year.
Karis Schneider, his daughter, was born in 1994 and will be 13 this year.
Andre, his nephew, was born in 1988 and will be 19 this year.
Leah is his only child that is at university and she goes to one in California, I think it's UCLA but I'm not totally sure about that. It's definitely one in California not Indiana. -

I've been fan of John's since the Dukes of Hazzard. So, over the years, I have stored up a lot of general information.
However, if you are a newer fan, you can find information about John by putting his name in Google and searching the results. -

In a more recent interview, from March 2012, he says his 4 children are Mandy, Leah, Chasen & Karis and that Karis is his biological daughter and the other 3 were his wife Elly's. Do you know anything about Mandy and why she never seems to be mentioned anywhere else? Mandy was the baby daughter that his soon to be ex-wife put up for adoption when she got pregnant as a teenager. Mandy reconnected with her biological mom. The grandchildren that John mentions ever now and then are Mandy's children. Not judging but if Chasen was born in 1992, John and Ellie married in 1993; didn't they get hitched rather quickly? I think that Chasen and Leah's biological dad was killed in a motorcycle accident. If that's the case; Elle didn't grieve long unless Chasen has a different dad?

TY for the info on Mandy. That article I cited is the only time I have read or heard anything about her. What I know about Chasen from what I've read is that he was about a year old when John & Elly married and John adopted him. Also he was diagnosed with Asperger's. Elly's daughter Leah did not want to be adopted by John at that time. From what you say, it does sound like Elly got remarried rather quickly, unless maybe Chasen's dad died very shortly after he was born or maybe even before he was born.

I also noticed that he and Elly got married in 1993 and Karis was born in 1993. I guess Elly was preggers when they got hitched. Maybe that is the reason they got married after knowing each other on,y six months??? A shotgun wedding???

It stated in a magazine article that she filed for irreconcilable differences. He claims that he ran away from home and could see the divorce coming a mile away. He currently resides in Holden, Loisiana and she's in Santa Monica. I am sure that I am delving into a situation that is none of my business; but I wonder if it was the kids that was the glue that held them together? It's kind of wierd that once the kids were all grown up and on their own that things fell apart but I have seen many marriages where the kids were the focus and once they grew up and moved on; the marriage went kaput! I could be wrong.
