              I guess when you get to temperatures like that a few degrees doesn't make much of a difference and any exposed skin will sting from the cold.

                I've been out in minus 30 F in Alaska. When it's that cold, you don't even feel it because
                within seconds
                of being out in temperatures that low any exposed parts of your body (face, etc) will start to become numb very quickly and the fluid in your eyes starts to freeze over causing you to blink constantly. I got frostnip (pre-frostbite) on both of my ears from being out in it for 15 minutes without a hat on. I'm lucky to still have my ears though the tips of them are still very red from the experience.

                                It’s cold but it depends heavily on the humidity and wind. Dry cold doesn’t feel as bad.
