WTHeck does her level of beauty have to do with anything?
You need to be as "beautiful" as much as Jean was to be a good ACTOR?
are you smoking something?

I agree that Seberg has a most interesting life, but would be too afraid to see it if someone like Kirsten Dunst were to play her. Kirsten probably wouldn't even appreciate the role. And her voice is too unstable. Just an all around mess. I would rather they bleached Natalie Portman's hair blond, or something like that.
Anyone but Dunst. -

I don't know exactly in which year, but in the middle of the 90s I have read an article in an teen magazine abput it was planned that Jodie Foster played the role of Jean Seberg and that she would direct this movie. But it was never been realized. I don't think which actress could play Jean Seberg today, of course nobody who is older than 30 years of age.

and Natalie would?
Natalie is full of herself and has as much talent/expression as a wooden board. She couldnt pull off Jean's dirty blonde anyway. What makes you think KD wouldnt?

Emily Browning would make a good Jean Seberg. That was my immediate reaction to seeing this picture:

(anyone who has seen A bout de souffle will understand)
That is, if a movie is made about her life within the next few years.
I love. I have loved. I will love. -

that would be AWESOME! She's talented and can pull of the pixie look, and while she is more exotic looking than Jean does have a bit of similarity. Not a lot but some. Everyone acts like Michelle Williams (who is a decent choice but KD is better) and that awful Emma Watson look just like her or are the "new" Jeans but no

Dunst is a great experienced actress who has comedy and drama in her performance. Sure, she is taller, not quiet her lookalike but she is beautiful too. I would believe her anguish and care for the character any day.
Blake , Roberts and other young actresses would get the young crowd but they are so awful they put anyone above the age of 25 to sleep. Ryder has lost her spark and is not an ingenue anymore. A great actress but she just can't play a young teen anymore. Plus shes boring now, too much pouting and "I'm such a rebel misunderstood! " Attitude she appears to have. Yawn.
Joan was 17. (Some say younger some say a bit older) It doesn't work now to cast someone who's 30 to play a 16 year old like Luke perry or Gabrielle Cateris in the original 90210 Beverly Hills (it's re-run season on our ch11 at the moment) everyone was old looking! I digress
Scarlette Johannson is beautiful about 5'3 blonde and can act. Some don't think much of her acting but if you're trying to get a lookalike she's your gal!
But it shouldn't be that important but it helps certainly. Look at Jennifer love Hewitt playing Audrey Hepburn! No where near her beauty! And her figure was too voluptuous for audrey she maintained her slim 43 kg till her last days.
Then again Michelle Williams played Marilyn monroe and cute is not sexy.
I could go on but I'll get off topic! Lol -

I respect Dunst enormously. I think the whole problem with this project, though, is (in addition to distilling Seberg's chaotic life down to two hours) thinking there could be an actress who could play both a starry-eyed 18-year-old bursting with health and vitality and a disillusioned, world-weary 41.
Probably it should be an HBO miniseries with two actresses. Or have the script concentrate on Seberg's arrival in OR departure from Hollywoodnot both.
