Rod Serling and Barack Obama are long lost cousins.
Not really, but has anyone noticed that Rod Serling and Barack Obabma speak the same? Both speak with the same cadence and the same clipped words.
Interesting. Rod Serling for President in 2012! (Yes, I know he's dead)

One keeps me awake when I should be asleep, while the other just puts me to sleep.
There's a lot of variation in two speakers with "clipped cadence". Not much similarity really.

Ironically, that reply was quite a snooze-fest.

Obama speaks the dialogue of middle class white Americans. Both of them are very skilled at perfecting that sort of talk.
