Reports are that doctor saw him night before he died and suggested he go to ER following day. It sounds like that doctor didn't even do EKG on him. Malpractice?

When you complain about not feeling good for 40 years, it starts to fall on deaf ears. But than again, the healthcare industry is a disgrace these days thanks to the awful education system.

He didn't see a "doctor." He asked a friend, who happened to be a doctor, what to do about his symptoms, and the friend told him to go to the ER. Everyone's trying to blame the doctor now, but come onShandling would still be alive had he gone to the ER ASAP instead of just consulting a friend.

He would have had a much better chance in the ER in most cases, does not mean he would have certainly still lived.
