    "The Queen."
Then I realized he was Lucian in Underworld and it made me like Lucian more.

I agree, when I saw his lead role in The Damned United, with all of his bluster, I was a fan. A much better movie than that director's follow-up; The King's Speech.

Unthinkable. That's one of the best performances I've ever seen.

Too right Unthinkable was bloody brilliant. And Sheen himself superb!

I became a big fan because of Underworld. His performance in Unthinkable was so good I didn't even recognize him til half way through the movie. Blew me away when I realized it was him. Amazing actor.
Watch Bright Young Things if you haven't just for a different perspective on him.

'The Deal' which actually came before the queen, he absolutely nailed Blair. And it showed that he had real range, he could be the willing apprentice, and swiftly move to ambitious man, he was thrilling!

very late. It was when I saw FROST/NIXON in the theater.

For me it's not a film but his arc on 30 Rock as Wesley Snipes
                              He was really funny.

For me it was as William Trench in The Four Feathers opposite Heath Ledger. That was a fantastic film and remains a favorite to this day. I also really liked him in Timeline as Lord Oliver a part he played with excellent ferocity; his brief appearance in Blood Diamond & I came late to the Underworld series, but I really liked & was rooting for him as Lucien.
