Not all his roles were deaf2000 mutes. His character talked in both "Toby Tyler"(which is available on dvd I believe) and "Three Ring Circus".He's great in Toby Tyler. Here's a voice clip of him as Sam Treat from Toby Tyler: http://www.guywilliams.tv/mp3s/sheldon.wav

Gene Sheldon played a talking Genie in the 1945 time-travel fantasy "Where Do We Go From Here," starring Fred MacMurray. A dumber movie I haven't seen in a LONG time, so view at your own risk.
