He never married and was never romantically linked with anyone -He was notoriously private about his personal life. He may have been gay, but I don't think we'll ever know for sure. Regardless, he was a very talented man and he is missed.

Funny you mentioned his voice. I am rewatching Die Hard for the umpteenth time and I only just5b4 noticed what a great voice he had. RIP.
