So my friends and I bought a big monkey costume with a head and everything and went for a day through the streets of New York. And who do I see? Showalter! I go up to him and wave and i just get this look of disgust and he walks away mumbling to himself. What a mean dude. I still think he's funny though.

They are famously dicks. They admit it. That goes for most of the State. I dont want to be their friends, i just love what they do. I've seen show around brooklyn and he does look like a walking 'do not disturb' sign.

Same thing. Today saw him near NYU and asked him for a cigarette and gave me that "beep off, kid" kinda look and barely whispered "no." Then saw him again while waiting in line for a show around 3pm today and I said "hey, michael" and he just gave a smile and a nod. Probably likes to keep to himself but wish he would at least acknowledge the difference between a groupie and a respectable fan.
