I thought that being "Emancipated" ment you got realsed from you parents.
but it says she lives with her family.
what is the situation?

it means independent. She could still live with her parentsbut could be finically emancipated. It just means that her parents have no say over her or what she doeslegally. Like, let's say you're underage.and you don't go to school(or something like that.) you're parents could be held responsible for what you do..or don't do. So, you'd get in trouble..for not going, but so would you're parentsb/c they're responsible for you legally. If she's emancipated, it means she's responsible for herself.even if she lives with her parents.
