I was looking through the credits and realised she's been playing this role since Season 3. In Season 1 someone else had the role of Kathleen but left after only a few episodes and we didn't see Kathleen again until Season 3. I guess it took a while to re-cast the role.

Holiday Segal was the first Kathleen for Season 1 and then Allison took over the role in Season 3 and been Kathleen since. I think the casting did well, she has "Elliot's" face features and has the blonde hair like Kathy.

According to her myspace page she is a Capricorn which is between December 23 and January 21 and her my space page said she is 21 so she just had a birthday how long ago i don't know
